Grading Scale: 100-90%=A 89-80%=B 79-70%=C 69%-60%=D below 59%=F What is your late work or retake/redo policy? Class work/Homework/Tests/Quizzes/Projects - It is important that you are prepared and do your best on all work, as all work is of equal value. ABSENT MAKEUP POLICY: If you are absent, it is your responsibility to make up the missed work. You must submit the work directly to Mr. Hill when completed. LATE WORK POLICY: All work will be accepted for full credit up to 5 days before the current grading quarter ends. (Parent contacts will be made and possible after school time arranged to complete work after any work is more than 3 days late.) After the dead line of 5 days prior to the end of the grading quarter, all work not completed will be given a failing score. REDO/RETAKE POLICY: All work may be attempted as many times as a student desires for full credit. Arrangements must be made with Mr. Hill for either before or after school to retake a test or quiz. All other assignments may be completed anytime. Tutoring: I will be available upon request most days either before or after school Monday through Thursday. What are your classroom rules? Mr. Hill's Classroom Rules: 1. Arrive to class on time every day. 2. Be prepared. 3. Do your work. 4. Respect your own and other�s life spaces I am more interested in students learning the topics covered and working toward mastery of those concepts. Given the fact students can redo or retake any assignment or test as many times as they desire, extra credit will not offered. Why does my child not bring home graded papers? I collect and keep all graded work in a portfolio for each student for discussion with parents during partent/teacher conferences. Work may be returned at the end of P/T conferences or at the end of a grading period. How can I check my childs grade? Students grades can be seen by getting a password from the school district and accessing the parent portal of the districts grading system called JMC.
