Welcome to the Perkins Library! We have had 2 very successful Book Fairs this year! The Scholastic Book Fairs are a great way for you to get books to grow your home library, but it also gives me money to spend on new books for the library! This year, I used some of the money to purschase each classroom library new books! The teachers were very appreciative and the students are enjoying the books! I hope you have a plan to visit one of the Des Moines Public libraries over the summer. Also, make sure to carve out time to read every day. I look forward to hearing what neat stories our students read over the summer!
