Your child will need to bring a magazine or two tomorrow for
school. We will need a magazine he or she can cut up and
share with other students. We will be cutting out pictures
of things that represent ourselves. If you do not have a
magazine, that is fine, hopefully others will have some to
share.
September 16
Dear Parents,
Your child will be coming home with picture order forms and
chocolate updates! The pictures are on Wednesday, September
23. Please fill out your order form and send it in to
school by Tuesday. I will hold on to them so they do not
lose them or forget them on the day of pictures. Please
remember to fill out the form completely since there are
options for poses and background colors. If you are not
going to order pictures, please email me and let me know so
we are not looking for an order form. This also lessens the
confusion on picture day! Thanks!
As for chocolate, they are running specials and continuing
the sale. Please refer to the gold handout for more info!
I will be calling each of your homes between now and next
Wednesday. This phone call is just to check in and make
sure all is going well. If there is something you need to
talk to me about, please do! I do ask for our Open House to
be for the students to share their work. Please use the
phone time to express any concerns you may have. This helps
keep your child's progress confidential. If for some reason
I cannot get a hold of you, please email me some times that
are better for you. IF all is well and you would prefer not
to be called, please let me know!
Also all FULL CLASS parent emails will be posted on
teacherweb for 1 month.

Our class profiles went home on Friday. Your child should
have shared them with you. Please visit my website if you
did not see one! It is under 6th grade information. Email
if you have any questions!

f your child is wanting to run for an office for Student
Council, he/she needs to complete the essay as listed in the
packet sent home last week. It is due to Sister Mary Fran
by Thursday, September 10!!

Students will be coming home today with the September
Newsletter. This is the only paper copy that will be sent
home this year. You will need to go to http://www.icregina.com to
get them after this copy. Also, Back to School Night is
September 24 not 17 as written in the newsletter! There is
also info on volunteering for FFF Softball tournament.

1. Cindy Lavely is need of volunteers for Fall Fun Festival
- please contact her if you are interested.
2. Next weekend is Fall Fun Festival - if you do carline,
please remember that parking is limited and it will take
longer for carline! Do the same as normal, just form one
line if needed.
3. Back to School Night is set for Sept 24 from 6:30 to
7:30!
4. Picture Day is Sept 23!
5. If you need virtus training for some reason - next
training is Sept 29 at Regina - location change
6. Anyone interested in being the Gala coordinator for our
class, please let me know! I will be happy to help out but
need someone to coordinate it!
7. Alternate lunch choices will be printed on the bottom of
the lunch menu.

Good morning!
Today was our big chocolate assembly to kick-off our
chocolate sales. This means chocolate will be sent home
today with your child unless you already picked it up.
September 9 is our classes Mass if you would like to come
you are welcomed! It is at 2:00 in the elementary gym.
Information going home today:
Scrip packet - remember scrip starts on Monday if you would
like to participate.
Box Tops packet - every little bit helps so please read the
information
Special Events packet - Remember Fall Fun Festival is next
weekend already!

Dear Parents,
I am emailing you today to inform you about lunch choices.
Today, Amy Kron, our new lunch director, talked to the kids
about lunch pricing. She and I both emphasized the
importance of talking with you to decide what is an
appropriate amount money to spend on lunch each day.
Hot Lunch = $2.00 As written on lunch menu
Alternate Lunch = $2.00 - this is when they purchase the
alternate lunch choice and create their own lunch with 3
components of milk, meat, veggie/fruit
Salad = Salad bar and milk
Special treats are available to the 6th graders. This
includes cookies and ice cream. These are extras and do
cost please see the price list. A price list was given to
your child to share with you.
If you have any questions your child cannot answer, please
contact Amy Kron or me. We will be happy to help you ease
into this!
