About 1,000 students attend Bell School and all want to eat lunch in the
lunchroom! This means that the students must eat in shifts. For first
through fourth grade students, the lunch period begins at 11:15 and lasts
until 12:00. The first graders go to the children's lunchroom to eat and
then go outside to play. Your child may bring his/her lunch from home or buy
lunch at school. There is a peanut-free table in the lunchroom available for
children with nut allergies and any others who wish to join them.
If your child brings his/her lunch to school, please place it in a box
or bag clearly labeled with his/her name and room number on the outside.
Milk may be purchased for 35 cents. I will collect this in the morning when I
collect lunch money.
If you would like your child to have a hot lunch, please send EXACT
CHANGE on a daily basis. A school lunch costs $2.35. Please put the money
in a change purse or container of some sort. Money stuffed in book bags or
pockets has a way of not reaching its intended destination. You may also pay
for lunch ahead of time with cash or a money order. Please let me know if you
