Dear Bell Community: I am Elizabeth Khorana and am thrilled to be the new Counselor/Case Manager at Bell Elementary School. I began my career in Education upon graduating from Indiana University - Bloomington with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. I spent four years teaching Special Education before pursuing a master's degree in School Counseling. I spent two years as a School Counselor in Schaumburg before deciding to move my work closer to home and joining Chicago Public Schools, and am now beginning my third year as a Counselor/Case Manager for CPS. The cornerstone of my professional philosophy is to build trusting, collaborative relationships with students, staff and parents. I will do my best to work alongside all members of the Bell community to promote the academic, career, and personal/social growth of our students.
