This is my 22nd year of teaching. I have taught at the elementary,
middle, and high schools levels in my teaching career. I taught in
Indiana and New York prior to moving to Chicago with my family in July 2009.
I did my undergraduate work at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and
my graduate work at Indiana University-Indianapolis Campus. My undergraduate
work focused on elementary and special education, while my graduate work
focused on both literacy and technology.
During the summer, my family enjoys playing golf and spending time
outdoors. Spending 3 years in Buffalo, NY and enjoying over 100 inches of
snow each year, we learned how to ski and have enjoyed skiing in Wisconsin
and Michigan since moving to Chicago. We are so happy to be living in
Chicago and embracing all the city has to offer!
