Homework

Homework:
Guide Reading Books:  These books will be sent home 2-4 times a week.  Your child will bring them home in a yellow guided Reading Folder.
 
Spelling Words:
I will assign a spelling packet on Monday that is to be completed in class throughout the week.  This will give your student the extra practice they need in order to be successful on Friday's test.  I will give a pretest on Monday.  I will highlight the words your student needs extra practice on.  Practice those words nightly.  You should also give them a practice written test on Tuesday and Thursday.

Homework: 
Wednesday night starting  second quarter your child will bring home one sheet of homework or a paper book or poem.  Have your child complete the homework and sign it for them. 

Friday night your child will bring home their Reading Basal.  Please read that weeks story with your child and sign the log.  Please return the book on Monday or the first day of the school week.
