I was born in Okinawa, Japan. My father was in the Air Force and we moved
around quite a bit. I lived in North Carolina, North Dakota, California,
and Oklahoma. We eventually moved to Freeport, Illinois where I graduated
from Freeport High School. I attended Northern Illinois University and
completed my teaching degree in May, 2006.
On June 17, 2006, I married Mr. Vermillion. He is the choir director at
Belvidere North High School. We enjoy traveling together to places such as
Disney World and Canada. In my free time, I enjoy reading books,
scrapbooking, watching movies, and shopping.
Currently, I am teaching 8th grade language arts at Belvidere Central Middle
School. I am very excited and looking forward to the year to come.
