Dear Parents, Welcome to kindergarten! Hello, my name is Beth Leginski and I would like to take some time to introduce myself. Currently, I live in Wadsworth with my husband Mark. We have a fifteen month old son named Maximus (Max). I enjoy spending time with my family, boating and playing just about any sport. This will be my tenth year at Big Hollow. I began my adventure here student teaching in kindergarten. I continued the adventure by teaching first grade for two years, second grade for two years and now kindergarten. This will be my sixth year teaching kindergarten. I graduated from Barat College with a Bachelor of Arts and I received my masters from St. Xavier. Kindergarten is an exciting time as children embark upon new adventures in the world of learning. This is a year of important transitions, as well as one in which many new skills are introduced. I hope that your child's kindergarten learning experiences are fun and exciting ones. I hope to instill a love of learning that will last throughout their years of schooling. So much happens in Kindergarten! This may cause some apprehension. It is extremely important to keep in mind that we build on small success. Each child will progress at his/her own rate, acquiring skills as he/she is developmentally ready. Maintaining each child's self-esteem and building a secure foundation for future growth will always remain a priority in our kindergarten class. I look forward to working with you this year. If you ever needanything, please feel free to get in touch with me. Sincerely, Beth Leginski
