It’s May Already? 
Wow! I can’t believe I am writing this newsletter. Here is the schedule for next week. Please have your student here on time for all activities.
 

Monday – Memorial Day – No School
 

Tuesday – Pioneer Days
 Our field trip to Camp Henry Horner! We will be walking through the woods, so please dress appropriately. Sun screen and bug spray may be worn, but cannot be put on at school. Closed toed shoes are a must! School appropriate hats may be worn. Students will be responsible for anything they bring. We will be leaving school by 9:15 so please have your students here on time. Chaperones should be here at 9:00 as well.   Chaperones pay$7.00 if you have not turned in your money please bring it on Tuesday.
 Wednesday – One- room school house
 Information was sent home in your child’s folder. We will be having a simulation of what life was like in the 1800’s on the prairie. Students are encouraged to dress for the time period.
 Thursday – Field Days (AM), Yearbook Signing, Beach Bash
 
Thank you to everyone who volunteered for Field Days. This event could not happen without you. The activity begins at 9:30. Please have your student use sun screen and bug spray at home. Water bottles will be allowed, but students are responsible for their own. Please be sure to put a name on the bottle.
 
Thursday afternoon we will be having a yearbook signing event which includes all 4thgrade students. If they did not purchase a yearbook, or you do not want them to bring their yearbook, we have made memory books for each student which they can have signed. They may bring a colored pen or felt tip marker. No permanent markers please.
 
Thursday Night is the 4thgrade Beach Bash from 6-8. Students must be accompanied by an adult. The cost is $3.00 at the door per person, $2.00 each person in advance. Forms can be printed from my web site. 
 Friday – Rewards Movie – Middle School Tour
 Reading rewards Movie in the morning, Desk cleaning and Middle School tour in the afternoon. Wow! We will be busy!
 Monday – June 4, Report Card Day
