Our Early Childhood program provides service to children 3- 6 years of age
that have identified special needs. The learning environment fosters growth
in all areas of development using "The Creative Curriculum For Preschool".
Our classroom community is a place where children feel safe, help one another
and see themselves as part of a group. In this structured learning
environment children have the opportunity to make choices, explore and
practice new skills. Throughout the week they will work in a variety of
settings (large groups, small groups and independently). All styles of
learning are taken into account so that each child can experience success.
Our team uses a transdisciplinary model to benefit each child's specific
needs. Each quarter we focus on different units of study aligned with
Illinois State Standards.
