Grading is based on Total Points
Expect some type of Assessment at least every 2 weeks – Chapter Test or
Quiz, Review Exercise(Fractions, Addition & Multiplication Facts, etc.)
Homework Graded Daily: Possible 5 Points
Homework must be completed in pencil on loose-leaf paper. Work must be shown
in a neat and organized fashion. The format and directions outlined in class
must be followed. Please correct your paper accurately in ink (no purple or
black pens). Points will be deducted for not following above procedures.
Point system as follows:
5 Points Completed with at least 80% accuracy.
4 Points Completed with at least 60% accuracy.
3 Points Completed & valid attempt at assignment.
Late Work 1st Day late: 1 point is deducted. Greater than 1 day late: NO
CREDIT!!
Homework should be corrected and can earn an extra point.
10 Extra Credit Points each 9 weeks for no late or incomplete assignments.
Every 3 incomplete assigments will be made up during recess for no credit.
Each additional 3 missing assignments will result in further consequences
(i.e. detention, parent meeting, no track & field day, etc.)
Homework missed due to an absence must be completed and corrected by you as
soon as possible.
Make-up Exams and Quizzes given before or after school.

*Daily Attendance and Homework are very important!!*
All Students are expected to take notes daily in a notebook solely for Math.
5 Points/week for class preparedness & notes.
