Weekly Homework Schedule

Homework is an important part of second grade! Below are the assignments you can expect to see every week. Please refer to the student planner for specific information.  
 
Marvelous Mondays

Language Arts: Scavenger Hunt Worksheet

Terrific Tuesdays
Reading: Read Big Book Story, Journal or Blog

Wonderful Wednesdays
Language Arts: practice book story/skills page

Thinking Thursdays
Reading: Read Big Book Story/comprehension
Spelling: Practice test
Math: Home Links page

Fabulous Fridays 
Reading: Read on your own! 

 
Several times throughout the year, students will have Homeside Activities that are to be completed at home.These activities are designed to connect school and home with a meaningful learning experience.  Assignment specifics and due dates will be available at those times. 

Missed Homework Policy
If a student misses a homework assignment, they will complete the assignment during recess. 
 
If you miss 3 or more homework assignments in one week, you will not participate in Snazzy Snacks or Regal Eagles on Friday.
