I am very honored and happy to be a part of Culver School. Working with such a wonderful
faculty, staff, parents, and students is very rewarding. I am very excited to be teaching your child in
kindergarten!
I graduated from Mundelein College in Chicago (now a part of Loyola University). Upon
completion of my program, I taught first and second grades at St. Gertrude School in Chicago for 5
years. In 1987, I became a part of Niles District 71 as a second grade teacher. Since joining District
71, I attended National-Louis University and received a Master of Education degree in Curriculum
and Instruction. I have continued my education by taking many classes and workshops. I have been
an active member on many committees at Culver School and am also a member of several
educational organizations.
Besides being a teacher, I am a wife and a mother of two very active children. My children are
involved in school, music, and sports. As a working parent, I understand the trials and tribulations
you and your child experience!
Teaching is my passion! I believe that parents and teachers should work together as a team. We
are all here for the success of your child. I believe it is important that we have good communication.
If you ever have any questions, ideas, or concerns please feel free to contact me. I will be sending
home newsletters or you can check the web page to keep you informed of classroom happenings.
I'm looking forward to a great school year!
The mission of Culver School is to provide for each student a challenging education, which promotes
