I am excited to be working with your child on their speech and language goals! The following is some basic information about speech and language services. Feel free to call or email me at anytime with questions or comments. Schedule: Your child will be scheduled for speech at a time that is chosen with their classroom teacher. See my building schedule for specific days I will be at your child's school. Progress: You will receive updates on your child's progress with their report cards. I am always available to talk or meet with you. Homework: I send homework calendars or other short assignments to target speech sounds or language skills. I only send speech sound practice after your child can consistently use a good sound in speech. I recommend reading with your child every night to promote good language skills: talk about the book, ask questions about what happens in the book, and make predictions about what might happen next.
