I am in my second year as a 6th grade reading and geography teacher at Central
Junior High. I coach baseball at the junior high and am a sophomore coach at
East Peoria Community High School on Coach Plummer's staff.
Prior to teaching at Central, I taught social studies (World History and
Geography) at Woodruff High School in Peoria for four years until its closure
in 2010. At Woodruff, I was a varsity baseball coach and athletics director.
I graduated from St. Ambrose University and am pursuing a Master's degree in
Educational Leadership at Bradley University. My wife, Ashley, is a
teacher at Whittier Primary in Peoria.
