This is my 18th year teaching in District 86. After 17 years of teaching 7th
grade social studies and language arts, I have moved to 1st grade. Since I
had an awesome 1st grade teacher going through school, I knew that some day I
would want my own 1st grade classroom. That dream has finally come true.
I received my bachelor's degree from Illinois State University and a master's
degree from Aurora University.
I reside in East Peoria with my wonderful husband, Robin. We have two
charming children. Colin is in 8th grade at the junior high. He enjoys
baseball and basketball. Peyton is in 4th grade at Bolin.
She is involved in softball, basketball, and soccer.
