READING: The students have been busy learning a variety of reading strategies to help them become better readers. Every Tuesday we have reading buddies with Mrs. Sadkin's class. This gives the students the opportunity to share their reading expertise with their reading buddy.
SPELLING: We have a pre-test on Mondays and a final test on Fridays. If a student receives 100% on the pre-test, they will have a more challenging list to learn for the test on Friday. Spelling sentences and pages are due on Fridays.
WRITING: The students are learning how to write extended responses in preparation for the ISAT test. This form of writing includes both "book" and "brain" in the response.
MATH: We are learning all about fractions. We are continuing to work on our math facts by taking Mad Minutes.
SCIENCE: We are learning all about Natural Disasters and Rocks and Minerals.
