Dear Parents,
Welcome to fourth grade! My name is Mrs. Mlynski and I will be your
child’s teacher for the 2009-2010 school year. I am overjoyed with the
opportunity to work with you and your child. I have many exciting activities
and projects planned and a wide variety of skills and information to teach
your child. I have a class web page that you can access by going to
www.golf67.net . It will be updated shortly to include upcoming events, as
well as skills and concepts we will be focusing on in class.
The following information will help get the school year off to a
great start.
• SNACKS: Your child has the option of bringing a healthy snack to
school each day to be eaten midmorning. I strongly encourage such items as
fruits, vegetables, dried cereal, etc. Please no sweets.
• BIRTHDAY TREATS: Your child may bring treats to share with the class
on his/her birthday, if you choose. Please make sure you send enough for
each class member. Summer birthdays will be celebrated in June.
• SCHOOL BAGS: Please make sure that school bags are large enough to
carry folders, books, and other items back and forth each day. School bags
cannot be on wheels, as they will not fit into the lockers. Please check the
bag daily! Work should be coming home regularly. I ask that you send all
notes and/or money requested in a sealed envelope marked appropriately.
