First grade students have homework every night. I expect students to turn in
their completed homework the following morning. Most homework is set on a
weekly schedule, but on occasion, there are special assignments that will
be given. Students who do not turn in their homework will stay in for
recess and complete their unfinished work.
Students are expected to read at least 75 minutes outside of school on a
weekly basis. Each week I sent home a new purple reading log to record
outside reading. The reading records are to be turned in on Monday
mornings.
Students have been doing a great job with turning in their homework thus
far. Keep up the good work!
