Greek and Latin Roots

Each week, the students will learn four new roots that they
will be tested on at the end of the week. They will be expected to
learn the definition for each root, as well as the definition to at
least one of the derivatives for each week. Every Friday, the test
will consist of the new roots for the week, and the old ones. Please
reinforce with your child that the roots help give meaning to the
derivatives. Students can predict a word's meaning based on the root.
