How can I get in contact with Miss Cruz?
You may call my classroom phone at 630-894-4419. If I am
unavailable, please leave me a voicemail and I will return your
call OR you may e-mail me at mcruz@esd20.org. You may also send
your child to school with a note.
What if my child is going to be absent for school?
If your child is sick, please call the attendance line at
630-894-4599. Otherwise, please write down the dates your child
will be absent and I will tell the office.
Can anyone pick up my child at school?
Children are not released from class to anyone without the
parent's or guardian's permission. If a child is being picked up
by someone other than a parent or guardian the office must be
notified.
If Miss Cruz hasn't assigned homework for the night, how can I help my child?
Despite what your child tells you, they have homework every
night! Students should be reading or being read to every night,
practicing Word Wall Words, and practice counting to 100 by 1's,
2's, 5's and 10's. Later in the school year, students will need
to practice Addition and Subtraction Math facts.
