I,Mrs. Caputo, (Center photo) moved to Illinois in 2003 from Ohio where I
spent 20 years teaching 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade and Title 1
Reading. This is my fifth year at Greenbrook. I have my Masters in Reading
from John Carroll University. Teaching young children to read and write is
very rewarding for me.
This is Mrs. Baker's (Right photo) 13th year working as a reading teacher
aide. She has her Masters degree and enjoys working with the Kindergarten
children. Mrs. Baker has a daughter Myla who is an art major attending a
university in California. Before working at Greenbrook she spent 12 years as
a Social Worker.
This is Mrs. Lewis'(Left photo) fourth year working as a teacher assitant.
She has her B.S. degree from Eastern Illinois University. She has
contributed voluntary services to the district since 1996. All three of her
children have attended Greenbrook. She enjoys working with children on a
one-to-one basis and in small group settings and watching them grow in their
literacy development.
Our mission is to support students to read and write independently,
and to foster a love of reading.
