The purpose of Title Reading is to provide students with extra support in reading. The program focuses on the five strands of literacy: Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Fluency, Vocabulary, and Comprehension.Back to Top

When do students get pulled out of the classroom for Title Reading?
The students are pulled only during times when there is no direct instruction taking place or no Specials classes (i.e. P.E., Music, Art).Back to Top
Students come to Title for 2 hours a week. It may for two, three, or four day increments.Back to Top
What are the qualifications for Title?
Students who qualify for Title Reading are typically reading 6 months or more below grade level. We also use teacher recommendations.Back to Top
