Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders are practicing their
locomotor movements
, ex. skipping, galloping, and hopping.
3rd, 4th, and 5th graders are learning the skills of passing, trapping, and dribbling in our
Soccer Unit
. We are taking advantage of the awesome weather and participating in our activities outside whenever possible!
In
October
, all students will be learning about the SKELETON!
P A C E R
DAY
(grades 3-5)
..is the
last
P.E. day of every month. Make sure you:
stay hydrated. (drink enough water)
get plenty of sleep the night before.
wear loose, comfortable clothing to run in.
wear gym shoes.
The PACER run is administered every month so students can monitor their cardiovascular endurance. I record their scores in an Excel sheet so they can see their scores every month to reach goals and set new ones.
