Do you give a lot of homework?

There will be days when you have written homework, reading homework, or you
will be working on a project; you may be working on research or studying for a
test or quiz. There will be days when you do not have homework. It really
depends on what we are doing in class. For example:if we are working on a
research unit, you will have homework every night; if we are beginning a new
chapter, you may start your homework in class (after a classroom discussion),
but have work to finish at home.
I generally do not give homework on Wednesdays or weekends.

What will we be studying in Social Studies this year?

Culture will be the main focus of study this year, more specifically, we will
be exploring early Western civilizations and relating those cultures to our
own. Making these connections between the past and the present is essential to
understanding the world we live in today. Trust me, you will enjoy the class :)
