NEWSFLASH - I hope everyone had an enjoyable winter break. We are ready to
jump right in to make this new year meaningful and productive. There are
always new things to learn!
Congratulations to Mujo for earning "Student of the Month" for January.
Science: We are beginning a new unit on the Human Body. Expect to learn
new and interesting things from your child.
Reading: "The Babe and I" is the new story we'll be reading this week.
Spelling Tic-Tac-Toe is back! Look for #6 which will be collected on
Friday.
Math: In addition to continuing to reinforce telling time on an analog
clock, we will need to work on figuring out the passage of time. For
example: If we have specials 4 days a week from 11:05 - 11:45. How much
time do we spend each week at specials? Answer in hours and minutes.
We are beginning the new year with Unit 7 in Math Trailblazers.
Parents, thank you for your positive feedback on this website! It seems as
if this class is using and enjoying it a lot. Let me know if there is
anything you'd like to see added.
UNIFORMS: This class is doing well coming in uniform. Thank you for your
cooperation and keep up the good efforts!
Thank you for getting your child to school on time. This year it's been
great that we've not had to stop instruction to change attendance for tardy
students!
Remember to check the pink folder inside the green 3-ring binder to see if
there are any notes for you. Also, please remember to look at the agenda
book and make sure the work is done correctly, then sign the homework and
the agenda book. This helps keep your child responsible for doing the work
well.
Feel free to contact me by e-mail or leave a message at school and I'll get
back to you as soon as possible.
