Dear Parents, District Staff and Community Members......As a means to honor American veterans, Hiawatha School District is hosting a Veteran’s Day Assembly on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 9:00 A.M. in the High School gym. The program includes, Guest Speaker, Retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Brennan. The public is invited to attend. Those who have served or are serving in one of the branches of the armed forces are especially invited to attend so we may honor you for your service to our country in protecting, defending and preserving our freedoms.
