Message from the Principal

Welcome to the Hiawatha PreK-8 School Website. I encourage parents and guardians to be involved with their students’ education during the summer months. We encourage parents to engage in their child’s learning at home. Encourage your youngsters to read at home during the summer. The more a student reads the better they will become at it. It is also helpful to review math, science, language arts, history and elective topics to stay on top of your learning. Students have worked really hard all year. Staying up to date with academics is important during the summer. I encourage fun activities that incorporate learning outdoors. Finding online enrichment activities to enhance learning beyond the classroom are also encouraged. Learning never stops. Have fun and keep learning during the summer months!
Please feel free to contact me regarding any questions and/or concerns.
