About The Teacher

Hello sixth graders and parents!  My name is Mrs. Driscoll, and I am 
officially returning to Hilda Walker after my maternity leave.  I will be 
one of your sixth grade teachers for the remainder of the 2008-2009 school 
year.  I am looking forward to an exciting and productive year with all of 
you.  

Our classroom is made up of a diverse population of sixth graders who are 
learning and developing individually as well as within groups. As sixth 
graders, you are ready to take on a lot of responsibility for your own 
success as learners.  You will also learn to contribute to the success of 
your classmates. Junior high is just around the corner, and everyone needs 
to be prepared for this next big step.  I have planned lots of great 
learning activities to ensure the success of everyone in our classroom.
