Origami Landscape!
It all starts with Origami, the ancient Japanese art form of sculptural paper folding. Students used diagram instructions to fold a basic Origami boat.
After the boats were folded, they were decorated using markers.
The finished boats were then taped to a large piece of paper, and crayons were used to turn the rest of the paper into a landscape.
Students were encouraged to be creative, to think about things that one might find beneath and above the sea.
Students were also encouraged to use as much of the white space as possible.
