Welcome back to school!
We hope everyone had a great Sukkot vacation and that your children had a wonderful time performing the Mitzvot that we discussed in school.
We are thrilled to be using our SMARTBoard in class each day, as we learn to focus on details, such as נקודות, vowels, when we read and write. We've also been been building our language skills as we manipulate word order on the board to create new sentences and then determine if they are accurate or silly.
On Tuesdays the children play at www.ariotcal.org in the computer lab, allowing them to work individually at their own pace as they practice their communication and reading skills. Please encourage your child to access the site at least twice a week from home. This will support his continued progress and help bring the lessons from school to transfer easily to the home, encourgaing the use of Ivrit as a mode of communication in real life as well as at school.
