We Love Shabbat

This week we planned and prepared for our joint Shabbat Party with the other kindergarten class.
We began by making Challah

We worked hard trying to get the sticky challah dough into balls and then into long strips.

Here is what our challot looked like before baking.

And this was our finished product! Yum! Yum!

The tables were set and looked beautiful.

Here is a close-up of the napkin ring placecards we made and the lovely kiddush cups made by our friends in the other class.

Now it was time to say the bracha on the candles.

Rabbi Linzer joined us and said Kiddush.

We were glad when we could finally drink our grape juice.

And the challah we made certainly tasted delicious.
After this we ate "class-made" cholent, ate our lunches, sang a few songs, and had a wonderful time.
