Bnei Mitzvah Paper

A component of the upcoming Bnei Mitzvah program will be individual research exploring different aspects of your Hebrew name. Our sages say that a name teaches us of the person’s essence and mission. You will research your name and the information about it, and write a five paragraph essay.
Use the interview questions to guide you in your research. Your paper will include:
Introductory Paragraph
· Person’s name
· Relationship to self
· Reason named for this person
· Thesis: Three qualities about this person
Body Paragraph I
· Topic sentence needs to be about first quality of thesis statement
· Personal information
Body Paragraph II
· Topic sentence needs to be about second quality of thesis statement
· Contributions to family and/or society
Body Paragraph III
· Topic sentence needs to be about third quality of thesis statement
· Family anecdotes and stories
Conclusion
· Which qualities would you like to emulate throughout your life and why
