Week of Nov.2:
There is a test on pereck 19, pesukin 1-8 on Tuesday. We continue with
pesukim 9-15 and workbook pp.40-43.We learn Parsha every Friday and the
childrens' yoman needs to be signed and brought to class on Friday.
Question of the week:After Matan Torah whom will Bnei Yisrael believe in
besides Hashem?
Week of Oct.26:
This week we will prepare for our test on pereck 19;1-8. We will work on a
review worksheet, review orally and study in pairs. Because there is no
school on Friday we will learn Parsha on Thursday. The date for the test is
Tues. Nov. 3.
Question of the week: Why did Bnei Yisrael want to only hear the Ten
Commandments from Hashem?
Week of Oct.19:
We continue in Yitro pereck 19,pesukim 3-8 In our workbook we do pp 32-37 and
Rashi possuk 4 "Al Canfei Nesharim".The class will do some art with possuk 4
and the Rashi.
Question of the week:How did Hashem protect Bnei Yisrael from the Egyptian
arrows?
Week of Oct13:
Welcome back! We begin a new pereck in Parshat Yitro,and learn pesukim 1-8.In
the workbook we do pp30-33.This new pereck teaches us about Matan Torah. We
also start using the new Parsha books for Sefer Bereisheet.
Question of the week: Why does the Torah tell us in pereck 19:8 that Moshe
came back and told Hashem what Bnei Yisrael said; doesn't Hashem know without
Moshe telling Him?
Week of Sept.21:
We have started pereck 18 pesukim 13-27. In the workbook we will be doing pp
12-19. We will be learning about the Ramban and the Ibn Ezra and their
answers to our questions.We will be talking about Kriat Hatorah for Yom
Kippur and the Parshat Hashavua for this Shabbat.
Question of the week: In our pesukim Moshe tells Yitro that he teaches the
nation the Chukim. What kind of laws are Chukim?
Week of Sept14:
We will be checking pp8& 9 in the workbook and learn two Rashis on possuk 2
&5. We will write summaries on these Rashis. We begin new pesukim 13-27 and
talk about Kriat Hatorah for Rosh Hashana.
Question of the week:Please answer same question as last week as there were

Week of Sept 7:
In Parshat Yitro we will be studying Pereck 18, pesukim 1-12. We will learn
Rashi 2 on p.23 and Rashi 5 on p.24 in the Chumashon. In the workbook we
will do pp.6-9.
