Dear Parents,

Thank you for your interest in Holy Cross School. Holy Cross prides itself on its long standing tradition of forming the entire child, academically, spiritually, and socially. We offer this in a Gospel-based community environment, built on living out the Gospel message.

Holy Cross has a challenging, diversified curriculum that prepares each of its students to succeed throughout their academic career. Opportunities for social development are plentiful including extra-curricular activities and sports programs available to students. Spiritual growth is promoted through daily prayer, attendance and participation at Mass, and participation in various service projects from Pre K-8. Teachers also model their faith to help the students understand how to live out their faith.

Our goal is to help each child reach their greatest potential, and to foster lifelong faith learning and development of individuals’ talents and skills. Our staff of highly qualified and dedicated teachers, our loving parents, and our well-equipped facilities help our children reach their goals.

We recognize that communication with parents is vital for a student's success. Our faculty, office staff and school nurse are not only accessible but firmly believe in constant communication and the importance of the personal touch.

The best way for you to appreciate our school is to see us in action. Come and see our students and teachers at work. Talk with other parents and ask questions. We want to welcome you as part of the Holy Cross community. We are very proud of our school and invite you to join the Holy Cross School family.

Sincerely,

Janice DiVincenzo

THE GOLDEN RULE

Our Religious Theme for the Year

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Matthew 7:12. The Golden Rule, also known as the Ethic of Reciprocity, is arguably the most consistent ethical principle in history. It is found throughout various cultures, religions, secular philosophies and indigenous traditions. As such, it lends itself to the building of cultural awareness and diversity, another theme we embrace at Holy Cross School. Chosen specifically by our staff to focus on cooperation and unity, this theme has special significance for us as we begin the new school year
