A Peek At The Week
Wow! November already! Fall is in the air, Eid Breaks are around the corner, and our Pre-k children are learning so much! We are proud of their progress so far, and we know that they will continue to “achieve and succeed”!
We had a very busy week working on some beginning and ending sound related activities.
This Week,
Theme: Opposites
Letter Of The Week: J (Recognition and related vocabulary)
Number 10(recognition, formation and counting)
Tall/ Short, Pentagon
Islamic Studies: Fasting
Language Arts
In Language Arts we will continue
- listening to stories and retelling stories
- speaking clearly enough to be understood by peers and adults
- printing and correct formation of upper and lower case letters of the alphabet
- identifying initial sounds and letters to given picture
Math
In Math, we continue to work on:
- Numbers up to 10, correct formation and concept of “how many”
- Arrange objects in a set of 0 to 8
- Counting backwards and forwards to 10
- Practice writing numerals
Important Note
Homework is due on Wednesday
Please remember weather is getting colder have your child wear coat, they need them for outdoor activities.
