A Peek At The Week

We have been busy learning/reviewing the lower and upper case letters of the alphabet. Please make flash cards of these to help your child remember them.  Another activity is to find each letter in print around your house.

Letter Of The Week: M (Recognition and related vocabulary)

Number 1-10(recognition, formation and counting)

Few/more, Shorter /Longer Pentagon

Islamic Studies: Hajj

Language Arts:
Here are some sound-and-letter activities you and your child can do together.

• Use of phonics to say simple words.
• write words based on how they sound, using initial consonants

Math:
 In Math we will review numbers 1-20. Please have your child practice recognizing and writing these numbers at home. We will also talk about position words (over, under, above, beside, etc

Reminder 

Please remember to practice:

*Uppercase & lowercase letters

*Letter Sounds

*How to write the letters

Please continue to read each night with your child.

Please be sure to dress your child for the weather of that day. (Label all jackets, gloves, etc.)
