Please check your child's agenda nightly for the most current homefun assignments.  Things may happen during the day that make me adjust what I send home for your child to complete.
Work should be checked over by a parent or young adult.  Help your child fix, if needed.
Agendas need to be signed nightly by parents.  We earn parties based on assignments and signatures.  This is a third grade policy.  An X will be put on the homefun chart if there isn't a parent signature.
Although it is not listed nightly, as mentioned at Parent Orientation, students should be reading a minimum of ten minutes every day outside of school.
Also, please practice spelling words and sentences as needed based on the pre-test given every Monday.
Please have your child learn to be responsible for their own things.  I hear a lot of "My mom/dad/grandparent forgot my backpack/homework/sign my agenda."  My response is that it is the student's responsibility to do their work, get a signature, and return their items in the morning.  Teaching responsibility now will set your child up for success in the future.  Thank you!!
