Kinnikinnick School used to have a big rally at the end of each year, where the students could pick out AR prizes, but after doing that for years. The Kinnikinnick students are very excited about this community service. This is how it works,If a students makes his or her AR goal, they will get a paper popped popcorn kernel that they put on a giant popcorn bucket that is on the wall in the library. The popcorn is worth 50 cents that the library will put towards buying books for the kids at King school. And for every 10 points over the students goal they will receive a star on their kernel. Which the library will pay an additional 25 cents for each star. Also the Kinnikinnick Students that reach their goal each quarter will receive a coupon for a free Backyard Grill Kids Meal. |
