                         Science: Animal Report


You will write a two page report on a WILD animal of your choice. 

   You must write about:


1.      Appearance:                     What it looks like
2.      Habitat/Environment:            Where it lives
3.      Suited in environment:          Body coverings, size,shape, etc. 
4.      Food:                           What it eats & how they get it
5.      Protection:                     How it protects itself
6.      Interesting Facts:              Endangered or neat facts
7.      Picture:                        Draw a picture of your animal

 You will need to look in two books to find your information and you will 
also use the internet as your SOURCES.


 You will also need a COVER SHEET for your report including the title, 
your name, and the date.

 Your report should appear in this order:
1.      Cover Sheet
2.      Report (2 pages)
3.      Picture
4.      List of Sources


                         Animal Report Notecards


Notecards must be done in a special way!
        
1.      You will write only one fact on a card. Write the information in 
your own words- not word for word from your source!

2.      Write the number of the subject area (1-7 on the other hand-out) in 
the upper right hand corner of the card. 

3.      Write the author and the title of the book you used to find the fact 
on the back of the notecard.

4.      Put your initials on the back of the card.
