4th Grade:
Welcome to Kinnikinnick School!
Music classes meet on a 5-day rotation. Each class meets 2 out of the 5 days
for 1/2 hour.

We will be starting recorder instruction soon.
Recorder fee ($5.00 cash, please) is due Sept. 14.

Our big Music program for 4th Grade is Spring Sing, April 22 at RMS.
Following Spring Sing, 4th grade students will study, listen to, and try out
each Band instrument during Music class.
Beginner Band sign-up night will be May 19 at Kinnikinnick.

5th Grade:
Welcome back! A special welcome to all of our new students.
Music classes meet on a 5-day rotation.
Each class meets 2 out of every 5 days, for 1/2 hour. There is no major all-5th music performance.
First assignment due Monday, Aug. 31:Bring Recorder to school & signed World Music Drumming Slip
We begin our "Recorder Karate" unit soon. New students need to order a recorder.
As the students learn to read & play each of 9 songs, they can earn a Karate
belt to tie around their recorder!
Please remember to put your recorder back in your backpack after you practice,
so you have it for class.
Beginner Band members need to turn in handbook slips & T-shirt money by Sept.14.
1st morning Band rehearsal starts Tuesday, Sept. 8, sorry for the mistake on the calendar!!
