The Monday after school reading group will resume on Nov.3rd. The Wed. after school math group will
not be held on Nov. 5th.
Please discourage your children from using their fingers to figure out x answers. Research indicates that
the more we use our brains to memorize things, the more memory neurons will develop to support
memorization.
As you study with your child for science and social studies, it would be helpful to ask them the main
idea of the the paragraph they just read, and/or "Is there a topic sentence?"
Please feel free to call me at 623-2166 Ex. 241 if you have any questions or concerns. It is very difficult
for me to take phone calls in the morning this year, but I will be available before and after school. You
