Conferences will be coming up the first week in November. Many of the
students are doing well and shouldn't need to have a conference. However,
all are welcome to schedule one with me or another teacher. Just ask on the
note that will be coming home about conferences.
DEAR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS,
The best way for your child to be successful in school is for the school
and home to form a partnership and work together to help your child be the
best he/she can be. This includes supporting behavioral, social,
organizational,and academic goals as a team. I have raised two kids and have
seen them grow into successful, hard-working adults, but it has been a team
effort from home,school, coaches, family, and friends. Please allow the
school to discipline your child when he/she needs it. Serving a detention or
having to write anapology are sometimes just what a student needs to view
their behavior in a new light.
Three years ago, many parents complained about negative consequences
and the students' behaviors deteriorated throughout the rest of the
year--causing many unnecessary problems between peers and with teachers.
However, the last two years went very well, with parents and teachers/staff
working as a united team to improve the academic and social behavior of the
students. Hopefully, this will be the case again in the 2009-2010 school
year. Thank you in advance for starting the year off by joining with me to
ensure that your child has a successful year.

Skyward link. Then, choose the student/parent link and put in your password
to see your student's assignment grades and current grade in any class.Please
feel free to email me at home or school or to set up a conference by calling
