Look for Tic Tac Toe homework in the F.R.O.G. Binder. This is given on the
first day of the week and is
due on the last day of the week. Students may choose 3 or more squares on the
tic tac toe board to
complete.
Second graders need to practice Spelling words on a daily basis! Lists
go home on Mondays and tests are on Fridays!
Practicing addition and subtraction facts is a must! Invest in some
flash cards.
Students need to read for at least 10 minutes everyday, silently or
aloud. Color in the I Love to Read Sheet!
Make sure to take time to listen to your child read from the Poetry Journal
each week. Write meaningful comments. Poetry Journals are due on Mondays.
Have your child write some stories at home!
