I am currently teaching my 19th year here at Lincoln Trail in Fourth Grade.
I am fortunate to have student taught in this building with Mrs. Meachum in
Fifth Grade. Mr. Jessup was gracious and hired me to teach here full time in
the fall of 1994. In addition to teaching I am curently coaching football and
basketball at the high school Varsity level. I have coached Jr. High
football, freshman and sophomore baseball and freshmen basketball. I have had
numerous roles within the MSEA ranging from President to committee member. I
have been married to Peggy for 37 years and have a daughter, Stacey, that
teaches and coaches in the Williamsville School District near Springfield,
IL. Her husband, Matt, teaches and coaches in the Rochester school district.
They presented us with a beautiful granddaughter on July 1st,2005, Eva JoAnn.
We were blessed with an amazing grandson, Elijah in February of 2007. Both of
them are truly Blessings!! My passions are the grandkids, teaching and golf.
Maybe not in that order. I am so fortunate to be a teacher in Mahomet. The
children are great and the parent support is even better. Thank You!
