Dear Parents,
Asalamualaykum! My name is Nada Gomaa and I would like to welcome your child to fifth grade and to the new academic school year of 2011-2012. As a member of the community, I am especially looking forward to getting to know both you and your child. InshaAllah I plan on doing my utmost best to ensure that your child will achieve much this year in terms of academic growth, greater self-confidence, good character and improved social skills. To support your child's academic growth, I pray that we maintain good communication between parent, teacher, and student. This year, our classroom theme is SPORTS which inshaAllah will encourage TEAMWORK, PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT, and DETERMINATION!
While the main goal is for students to learn, fun should not be excluded from the curriculum. As a teacher, I will strive to incorporate creative ideas and techniques that will help the students relate the lessons to real world experiences. This, in turn, will help them retain knowledge and enjoy their learning.
