Assalamualykum!!!

As you all know, we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss Day on, Friday, March 2, 2012.  To make this celebration fun and exciting for the students we need your help!!!  We will be sending home a list for snacks for the kids to bring for our party. 


Also, students are not required to wear uniforms on the day of the celebration.  

CONGRATUALTIONS to the 100th Day Poster Contest winners!!! Although everyone did a wonderful job and made amazing posters, Mr. Quadri and Mrs. Mujtaba did pick 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.  The poster contest winners are

**** MY READING GROUP PLEASE CHECK THE HOMEWORK TAB FOR ASSIGNED PAGES.


My Reading Group 1 will be reviewing sight words, and being introduced to the "AN" Word Family.  Be sure to point out words the difference between "AT" and "AN" words.

Students in my Reading Group 2:  Assigned pages in their workbook are 177, 178, 185, 186, 187 and 188.  Be sure to return Reading Workbooks on Friday, February 24, 2012.


Reading Packets and Math packets are given separately by your child's Math or Reading teacher.

Currently, I am reading, "Beezus and Ramona," by Beverly Cleary to class after morning Calendar.  Four year old Ramona's funny antics help get the class ready and focused for the day!  Tamara's family bought our class the book from the Scholastic Book Fair.  THANK YOU TAMARA'S FAMILY!!!

But the most exciting thing of all was that we were on CBS!!! Check out the link below to see our class being taped as they colored flags to honor our local heroes.
