Assalaamulaikum,
Alhamduliliah the quarter has been going great and the students are learning a lot! Students have been praying salaat in class for the last two months. Most of them know all the positions and also know what to recite when. InshAllah this month we will also be working on our value of the month, which is Cooperation. We will start off by reading stories on cooperation and inshAllah do several activities. Please work on this with your children at home. The Holy Prophet (S) in one of his testaments to `Ali Ibn Abi Talib (a.s.) said "The most commendable are three deeds:-First is being just to the people even against yourself. Secondly, cooperation and material help to (Muslim) brothers. Thirdly, remembrance of Allah in all circumstances". Indeed cooperation is a part of our deen and inshAllah instilling these important characteristics in them early on will help them carry it through out their lives.
