About The Teacher
Dear Preschool Parents, Assalamu Alaikum, At this time I will like you to take a few minutes to read about pre-school teaching staff as well as other important information. Mrs. Saima Malik: My name is Saima Malik and I will be your child’s Lead Teacher. I was born in Pakistan but raised most of my life in Belgium. So yes! I can speak French fluently! I graduated in Belgium with a minor in business. I have an Advance Early Childhood Education certificate from Oakton College and I am further pursuing my education at Oakton Community College. This is my ninth year teaching at MCC Full Time School and I am looking forward to a wonderful year filled with lots of learning, activities, and excitement. Mrs. Faiza Aman: My name is Ms. Faiza Aman and I am absolutely delighted to be one of your child’s teachers this school year! I will be assisting Mrs. Malik in carrying out educational responsibilities for preschool. This is my third year teaching, but my second year at MCCFTS. Previously, I taught Language Arts and Reading to multiple grades at ICC. I am also a parent at this school. I look forward to getting to know your child, working with them throughout the school year, and seeing them flourish into pre-kindergarteners. Inshallah with your support and cooperation, we aim to provide a happy, healthy, and fun Islamic learning environment so that your child can reach his/her highest potential. Mrs. Samia Sharief: My name is Samia Sharief and I am extremely excited about being your child’s teacher this year. This is my second year teaching at MCC FTS. Along with Mrs. Aman I will also be assisting Mrs. Malik in creating a safe, learning as well as a pleasurable environment for pre-school. I have been involved with MCC Full Time School for the past 13 years----first as a parent and second as a volunteer partaking in lots of PSG activities in the recent years. I also substituted at MCC Full Time School as well as at area’s public schools. I have a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from Karachi University (Pakistan). I firmly believe that education in partnership with good moral values makes an excellent human being and it is my personal goal to bring out the best in all the students that I teach Inshallah. Our collective jobs as teachers of Preschool is to ensure that we have a well organized classroom where children can be successful as well as to provide a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for the children. As early childhood teachers, our goal is to be able to meet the specific needs of children and work to nurture each child’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development through the year. Finally, and most importantly, as teachers we recognize that we are also learners. Not only that we learn from our students and parents but we also learn from each other. Everyday brings a new experience and adds to our learning. We are looking forward to a very exciting and productive year working with your child. Keep in mind that we will probably be seeing some adjustment difficulties with students, which is to be expected, since for many of the students it is their first experience being away from their parents for an extended period of time. Our staff will work hard to make all students feel at ease and monitor them as they follow the routines and start to socialize. You are the most important person in your child’s life and I know if we work together, your child will have a very successful year Inshallah! Also, please feel free to contact me if you have any concerns or question. You may contact me M – F between 12 to 2 p.m. at (847)470-8801.
